2020 King Day Rebrand for the National Civil Rights Museum
Branding for the event included a new logo, social media templates, wayfinding, and other marketing materials.
King Day is a cornerstone event that happens yearly at the National Civil Rights Museum. The bold font of the wordmark speaks to the protest posters of the 1960s, allows it to stand out against any background all while staying legible, even at a distance. This is important because King Day at NCRM attracts thousands of people to the museum and clear wayfinding is imperative.
The color chosen for the King Day branding is inspired by doors on the Lorraine Motel.
Social Media posts are easily identifiable by the event color and bold font.
Signage for “The Pavilion” tent was mounted over the entrance.
